Merge Excel Files

Combine two or more Excel files into a single workbook — either as separate sheets or merged into one table. Runs entirely in your browser.

Privacy & processing: Runs entirely in your browser — your file is never uploaded to a server.

How to use this tool

  1. Upload two or more .xlsx or .csv files
  2. Choose whether to keep separate sheets or combine rows
  3. Preview the result
  4. Download the merged .xlsx file

Common use cases

  • Combining monthly reports into one workbook
  • Merging exports from different tools before analysis
  • Consolidating branch or team spreadsheets

Limitations

Only combines file structure and data — it doesn't reconcile conflicting values between files or remove duplicate rows across them (run Remove Duplicates afterward for that).

FAQ

Does merging preserve my original formatting?

Only in "keep separate sheets" mode — each file becomes its own sheet with structure intact. Combining rows into one table flattens everything to raw values, since a single table can't hold multiple files' distinct formatting.

Is there a limit to how many files I can merge?

The tool accepts as many .xlsx, .xls, or .csv files as you select in one batch; very large combined row counts are limited by your browser's available memory, not by RowMint.

Does this tool upload my files anywhere?

No — merging runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never sent to a server.
