RowMint

Excel tools for procurement teams

Merge supplier quotations, normalize item descriptions, compare prices, and flag missing data before you generate a comparison report.

The problem

Comparing supplier quotations is tedious when each supplier sends their own spreadsheet with different column names, item descriptions, and layouts. Manually copying rows into one comparison sheet is slow and error-prone.

How it works

  1. Collect each supplier's quotation as an .xlsx or .csv file
  2. Merge all quotations into one workbook, one sheet per supplier
  3. Clean up inconsistent item descriptions and spacing (Clean Excel Data)
  4. Compare two versions of a quotation (e.g. before/after a negotiation) to see exactly what changed

Before / After

Before: five separate supplier files with different formats

After: one workbook, cleaned descriptions, ready to compare line by line

What works today

  • Merging multiple supplier quotations into one workbook
  • Cleaning inconsistent item descriptions and formatting
  • Comparing two quotation versions to see added, removed, and changed rows

What's on the roadmap

  • Automatic price-comparison scoring across suppliers (RowMint Workspace, not built yet)
  • Invoice-to-Excel matching against purchase orders (Invoice to Excel — blocked on a Workers AI vision license)

FAQ

Can it flag which supplier is cheapest automatically?

Not yet — Compare Excel Files shows you exactly what changed between two files, but automatic scoring across many suppliers is on the roadmap, not built yet.
