Convert an Invoice to Excel

Reads a photo or screenshot of an invoice using an AI vision model (Fal.ai) and a language model to structure the fields, then shows an editable preview before you download — any field it isn't confident about is left blank and flagged for you to fill in, never guessed. This tool sends your file to third-party AI providers; nothing is stored afterward.

Privacy & processing: Processed on our server via Fal.ai, held in memory for this request only, then discarded — never written to storage.

How to use this tool

  1. Upload a clear photo or screenshot of an invoice
  2. Review and fix every field in the editable preview — blank fields need your input
  3. Download the invoice as .xlsx with separate sheets for header fields and line items

Common use cases

  • Entering vendor invoices into a spreadsheet without retyping them
  • Digitizing a photographed receipt or bill
  • Building a line-item breakdown from a scanned invoice

Limitations

Built and tested for printed or typed invoices, up to 8 MB, one image per request. Handwritten invoices are a much harder case for any OCR system — double-check those results.

FAQ

Is my invoice image stored anywhere?

No. It's processed in memory for the single request and never written to any storage by RowMint, Fal.ai, or the language model used for extraction.

What if a number is misread?

Invoice to Excel shows every extracted field as editable in the preview before download — fix any misread value there.

Can it handle handwritten invoices?

The tool is built and tested for printed or typed text; handwriting is a much harder case for any OCR system, so double-check every field on a handwritten invoice.
